Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Atlanta, GA

We empower you to reclaim your life with intensive daily therapy and compassionate support.

Outpatient Treatment

What Is a PHP?

Recovering from a mental health or substance use disorder isn’t something you have to do alone. At Anchor Hospital, our partial hospitalization program (PHP) for adults (ages 18+) offers the structure and support you need to get your life back on track. With evidence-based therapies and a compassionate staff, a healthier future is possible.

Partial hospitalization is a type of outpatient treatment that’s a step down from inpatient or residential care. It’s ideal for people who don’t need 24/7 medical supervision but require more structure and support than traditional outpatient therapy provides.

Our PHP is offered by Branches College Park, a service of Anchor Hospital. Treatment takes place five to seven days per week, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Most people participate in a PHP for two to four weeks.

PHP for Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders: Why Choose Us?

Anchor Hospital has supported people across Georgia on their recovery journeys for more than 40 years. Our PHP offers:

  • On-site lodging: You can live on campus during treatment and avoid a daily commute. This unique feature sets us apart from other outpatient programs in Atlanta.
  • Many levels of care: We offer inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, allowing you to step down or up to the level of care that’s appropriate for your needs. You can rely on a familiar environment, consistent support and seamless care coordination.
  • Reliable support: We offer 24/7 nursing care and quick access to medical and psychiatric stabilization if necessary. Our providers include psychiatrists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

PHP With Housing

Our 16-bed, coed residence provides a stable living environment for people in our PHP. You have access to the grounds and amenities of the Anchor Hospital campus, including three meals per day in our cafeteria.

Unlike off-campus transitional housing, our proximity to the hospital and treatment center exposes you to fewer triggers and helps you stay focused on recovery. In addition, living on campus gives you the benefit of seven days of programming each week. Daily care provides consistent structure and enhanced professional support, helping you maintain your progress.

What to Expect in Our PHP
